This time in your life, when you lose a loved one, may be one of the toughest times, and you have so much to deal with.  

I will meet with you and others in the family or close friends - as you wish.   I will gently find out about your loved one and what you would like in the funeral ceremony.  We will prepare the contents of the ceremony together, or if you prefer, I will write the entire service for you, and I will make sure that you are completely happy with it. 

I believe that a funeral is a time for individualised, personal remembrance of your loved one, with the content of the ceremony tailored to the needs of each family. Every person is unique, and so a reflection or celebration of a person's life should also be unique.

There are no rules, and no set patterns. You can be involved as much or as little as you wish in designing the ceremony, and as much or as little during the ceremony itself.   

I can help guide you with suggestions of poems, remembrances or music, and can discuss ideas for personalising the service in creative ways. You can choose whether or not to have traditional religious elements in the service.
